NERD Summit 2021
For 2021, NERD Summit is reaching out, at both organizational and individual levels, to get more people involved! More involvement will support new summit ideas as well as program implementation, which in turn supports the NERD mission of making tech more accessible to both underrepresented and young people. NERDSummit 2020: Virtual Hackathon on Sunday!
NERDS2020 Hackathon will take place on Sunday, March 22nd from 9am to 4pm EST.
The Hackathon is going virtual, too!
Slack and zoom, the same powerful tools that remote workers use every day, will also empower us to collaborate on the hackathon projects! More details to come.
Do you like to code? Do you want to code? Have you tried to learn to code only to not know how to get started?
Using JavaScript, Python, and maybe a Raspberry Pi or two, beginner programmers and professionals (ages 8 and up) will have opportunities to learn practical programming skills and participate in building real-world applications with mentors in a group setting.
Come join us for a day of networking, learning, and practical hacking -- make new friends, sharpen your skills and develop new ones in a fun and encouraging setting. Sign-up is here.
